Invest in Lewisville by voting FOR all four Lewisville Bond Propositions on Saturday, May 4, 2024.
YES for Prop. A – Public Safety
This proposition provides $6.7 million for public safety projects including fire department facilities and safer swim beaches at Lake Park on Lewisville Lake. It also will fund the purchase of land for the future development of a new fire station #4.
Vote FOR this proposition to enhance public safety in Lewisville.
YES for Prop. B – Animal Shelter Expansion
This proposition provides $9.9 million to expand the Gene Carey Animal Shelter. This will add space to provide better veterinary care to the animals and more kennel space.
Vote FOR this proposition to improve conditions at the animal shelter, reduce the need for euthanasia, and help get more animals adopted.
YES for Prop. C – Parks and Open Spaces
This proposition provides $47.9 million for new and expanded parks, trails and open spaces. This will fund improvements in Lake Park with new trails and amenities, repurpose the old Vista Ridge Athletic Complex and Amphitheater, as well as new and improved trails throughout the city and Castle Hills. Funding is also provided to purchase land for future parks so that all citizens can live within a 10-minute walk from a park.
Vote FOR this proposition to invest in Lewisville’s quality of life, ensuring we all have safe spaces to play and exercise.
YES for Prop. D – Street Improvements
This proposition provides $198.9 million in funding for major street updates and improvements.
